The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Ricks, 1142 Monroe street, was held at Second Calvary 
Baptist Church Thursday evening, July 28th. The out-of-town people who attended 
were her niece, Mrs. Lula Gordan, of New York City, her brother and his daughter, 
Mr. Joe Williams and Miss Ella Williams, Mrs. Nellie Belle, of New York City and 
Mr. T. A. Mason, of Franklin VA.
