Norfolk Journal and Guide,May 1,1948
Norfolk - Ben Riddick, 2428 Barre street, who died April 5 was buried April 8
following funeral services at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The pastor, the Rev. H.
T. Myers, officiated. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mary Lou Riddick; two daughters, Miss Mattie
Riddick and Mrs. Rosa Britt; one granddaughter, Mrs. Hazel Oakes, and other
relatives.

Hales Funeral Home was in charge.
