Norfolk Virginian Pilot Wednesday January 8, 1936
Edd Riddick, aged 62, husband of Nellie Butt Riddick, son of the late James and 
Mary Parker Riddick, a native of Nansemond County, and a resident of Norfolk 
for the past 40 years, died at 10:30 o'clock Monday night at the residence, 408 
West Thirteenth street, Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. 
Abram Milteer, of Nansemond County, and a number of nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services and interment will be private, today, with the Rev. W. Taylor 
Willis, rector of Christ and St. Luke's Church, officiating.

Edd Riddick - Funeral services for Mr. Riddick, whose death occurred Monday 
night at the residence, 408 West Thirteenth street, were held privately 
yesterday afternoon, with the Rev. W. Taylor Willis, rector of Christ and St. 
Luke's Church, officiating. The pallbearers were C.L. Embree, C.W. Cramme, J.G. 
Stegall, B.H. Wolter, Livius L. Old and Walter Milteer. Interment was in 
Elmwood Cemetery. The casket was covered with a pall of pink roses, carnations, 
snap-dragons and ferns.
