Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, December 13, 2001 
Leon Riddick of the 800 block of Drawbridge Drive, died Dec. 11, 2001.

He was born in Norfolk to the late Nathaniel and Lucy Riddick. He was a nurse
for Bon Secour DePaul Medical Center, The Pines Rehabilitation Center, and
retired from the U.S. Army after 26 years as a master sergeant. He was a member
of Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church and the choir.

He is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Riddick Anderson and Carrie Riddick
Murray; four brothers, Nathaniel Riddick Jr., David Riddick, Sidney Riddick and
Bobby Lee Riddick; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends,
and Tramp.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Basilica of St. Mary of the
Immaculate Conception Church by Fr. Walter Barrett. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery . The family will receive friends at the residence. Viewing will be
held Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service.
