Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, December 8, 1999 
Rosetta Carr Riddick, 91, of the 900 block of Baltimore St., died Dec. 5, 1999.

Born in Norfolk County, she was a retired cook from Norfolk Public Schools. She
was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church; Widows of World War I, Norfolk
Chapter; Widows of World War II, Norfolk Chapter; former president, Titus Town
Senior Citizens and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Fowler, and a son-in-law, Leroy Fowler,
both of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Kelvin Fowler Sr. of Gaithersburg, Md.,
Rosezina Jones of Norfolk and Kendal Fowler of Columbus, Ohio; seven
great-grandchildren; three stepchildren; several stepgrandchildren; and many
nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Pleasant Baptist
Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. William Davis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery ,
Norfolk. Family and friends will receive guests and assemble at 7484 Hughart
St., Norfolk, for the procession one hour prior to the service. Metropolitan
Funeral Home, Granby St., is handling arrangements.
