A funeral service was held at Metropolitan AME Church here on Saturday for 
Robert J. Riddick, 107, of Norfolk and Asbury Park, NJ. His local address was 
6653 Whitehorne Drive.

Mr. Riddick died Sept. 20 in Asbury Park. His eulogy was delivered by the Rev. 
Richard A. Councill, pastor of Metropolitan. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery 
under direction of B. T. King Funeral Home.

A native of Sunbury, NC, Mr. Riddick is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Luva 
Baker of Asbury Park and Mrs. Prentiss Garland of Teaneck NJ; and three sons, 
Fred Riddick and Maurice and Elmer P. Riddick of Norfolk; five grandchildren and 
four great grandchildren.
