Riddick Jr. of the 800 block of Stratford St. passed away quietly and peacefully into eternal rest May 6, 2007, in his residence. A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late James W. Sr. and Ethel King Riddick . Bishop Riddick was the pastor of Christian Restoration Outreach Temple in Portsmouth. In addition to his pastoral duties, he had been employed with Brinks Security for the last 20 years. He leaves to cherish his precious memory his children, Andre Riddick (Yolanda), Linda Powell and Carolyn Vaughan; grandchildren, Aeneas M. Riddick , Kevin Gardner, Raymond Judge, Carmichael Judge, Antonio Vaughan, Phyllis Vaughan and Jennifer Vaughan. He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Riddick . A funeral will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in Second Calvary Baptist with the Rev. Dr. Geoffrey V. Guns officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be taken to Christian Restoration Outreach Temple, 1238 Highland Ave., Portsmouth, for a wake beginning at 6 p.m. At other times the family will be at 3409 Montgomery Place, Virginia Beach, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andre Riddick . Riddick Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
