Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, March 3, 1993 
Sharon ``Shia'' Riden, 35, of the 800 block of Bagnall Road, died Feb. 28, 1993,
in a local hospital.

She was born in Norfolk and was of the Holiness faith.

Survivors include three sons, Donald L. Riden, Antonio L. Riden and Ricky E.
Riden, all of Norfolk; her mother, Thelma Fortson of Norfolk; five sisters, Ruby
J. Cartwright, Sarah F. Whiatker, Edna J. Blue, Janice M. Fortson and Terrace
Auguste, all of Norfolk; and four brothers, Marvin L. Fortson Jr., Leroy Riden
and Reginald L. Riden, all of Norfolk, and Tony L. Fortson of Washington, D.C.
She was predeceased by her father, Marvin Fortson Sr.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in New Light Chapel Church, 37th
St. and Hampton Blvd., by the Rev. Carl J. Vann. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery . The family will assemble at the residence. Hale Funeral Home is
handling arrangements.
