The Norfolk Virginian Tuesday, June 11, 1895
The funeral of Mrs. Mary A. Ridley took place Sunday afternoon from her res
residence, No. 163 Freemason street, and was very largely attended. Dr. M. B. Wha
Wharton, of the Freemason Street Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Ridley had been a
mem
member since its organization, conducted the service. The burial was in Elmwood Cem
Cemetery. The pall-bearers were John B Whitehead, George W Dey, John B Jenkins, C A
C A Davis, C A Santos, Dr J A Robinson, Dr L Lankford and Judge M L Eure.
