Rieley took place yesterday morning from the residence of Mr. E.E. Sawyer, on Berkley Avenue, where he breathed his last. His former home was Bellville, Ala. He came here about six weeks ago and was at once confined to his bed and gradually lingered until death broke the thread of life and let his spirit free. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. M.W. Butler. Interment was made in Magnolia Cemetery. The doctor lived to the good old age of 83 years and died among strangers, who gave his remains such a Christian burial as men give to relations and friends. Such is a point in our Christian civilization.
