Virginian-Pilot, November 07, 1900

The obsequies of Mr. Thomas Howell Rieves, whose death has been noted in these 
columns, were held from his late residence, No. 629 West Brambleton Avenue, at 
3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Lafayette Lodge No. 9 I.O.O.F., of which the 
deceased was a member, attended the funeral in a body. The services was 
conducted by Rev. Dr. W.A. Barr, of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. The remains 
were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
