There were many beautiful floral tributes. The service was conducted by Rev. Reuben Meredith of St. Peter's Episcopal church. The interment was in Elmwood cemetery. The following were the pall-bearers: R.L. Breeden, W.C. Turner, F.L. Stewart, L.R. Bartholomew, Charles Jackson, Mr. Addison and John Walters. The deceased was the widow of Reilly Riggs and was a native of Camden, N.C., but had been a resident of Norfolk forty-four years. Her death occurred on Tuesday. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. R.E. Bayto and a sister, Miss Bettie Fulton, both of Norfolk, and several grandchildren. She was well known and highly esteemed in this city.
