The Virginian Pilot Wednesday August 28, 1968
Mrs. Doris Armstrong Riggs, 65, of 3019 Kansas Ave., widow of Joseph H. Riggs 
and a daughter of Frank and Mrs. Virginia Ault Armstrong, a native and 
lifelong resident of Norfolk, died in her home Tuesday at 5:30 a.m.
She was a Presbyterian.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph H. Riggs and Edward F. Riggs of Norfolk; a 
sister, Mrs. Mary A. Sawyer of Chesapeake; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home Thursday at 
11 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
