Norfolk - Edward Franklin Riggs, 10-day-old son of Joseph Herman Riggs, Jr. and 
Mrs. Mary Applebaugh Riggs, died in a Norfolk hospital Tuesday at 8:10 p.m.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Sandra Doris Riggs, and two 
brothers, James Penn Riggs and William J. Riggs, all of Norfolk;  his paternal 
grandmother, Mrs. Doris W. Riggs;  and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 
J. P. Applebaugh, all of Salisbury, MD.

The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery for 
a funeral service today at 2 p.m. by the Rev. F. S. Wagoner of Fairmount Park 
Methodist Church.
