Virginian-Pilot May 30, 1969
RICHMOND - Ralph R. Riley, 73, of 47 Malvern Ave., a retired employee of Lone 
Star Cement Co., died Wednesday in a hospital.
A native of Portsmouth, he lived there until about five years ago, when he moved 
to Richmond.
He was the husband of Mrs. Ardelle Eller Riley and a son of John T. and Mrs. 
Annie Antelotti Riley.
He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
Besides his widow, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Riley Harris of 
Germany, and three grandchildren.
The body was sent to Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, where the Rosary will be 
recited tonight at 8.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul’s Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
The family will be at 416 Grayson St., Portsmouth. They have requested that 
flowers be omitted.
