Mr. Riley was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. He was the son of the late Patrick S. and Annie Elton Riley. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Louis Foster and Mrs. Lawrence Kelly; one brother, Thomas C. Riley and a number of nieces and nephews, all of this city. The body was taken to the funeral apartments of H.D. Oliver, 610-612 East Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements. *************************************************************************** RILEY, JOSEPH PHILLIP - At the residence, No. 409 Chesapeake Street, Ocean View, Saturday, August 28th, 1926, at 10:15 o’clock p.m., JOSEPH PHILLIP, son of the late Patrick S. and Annie Elton Riley, in the 56th year of his age. Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s funeral apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Ocean View), for services TUESDAY MORNING, at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
