Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 2, 1940

Thomas Cornelius Riley, aged 72 years, son of the late Patrick S. and Mrs. Annie 
Elton Riley, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 1 o'clock 
Saturday morning at a local hospital. Mr. Riley resided at 409 Chesapeake 
Street, Ocean View.  He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary E. Foster, of Norfolk and several nieces 
and nephews. Remains will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, for services 
Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Rosary services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday night 
at 8 o'clock.

Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial avenue, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 
Ocean View, for services MONDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
