She was a member of Burrows Memorial Baptist Church; Order of Eastern Star, Virginia Chapter No. 45; Degree of Pocahontas No. 12, and Harbor Rebecca No. 37. She is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Rosa Ambrose, of Gloucester County; Mrs. Lena Norman, Mrs. Pearl Durrua, Mrs. Mattie Oglesby and Mrs. Della Cartwright, all of Norfolk. The body was removed to the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel, where services will be conducted Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
