Funeral services for Miss Eva Riley of Goff street, who died November 23 in a 
local hospital at the age of 76, were held November 28 at 2 p.m. at the Queen 
Street Baptist Church.  The pastor, Rev. J. Jasper Freeman officiated.

Miss Riley was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Mrs. Harriette Riley and 
was born in Norfolk.  She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Etta Burrell.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale’s Funeral Home in charge.
