CHESAPEAKE - Mrs. Lena Riportella, 81, of 841 Kempsville Road, widow of Anthony 
Riportella, died Sunday in a Richmond hospital.
A native of Reggio, Italy, she was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Rose DeNuccio of Chesapeake; and two sons, Leonard 
Riportella and Frank Riportella of Norfolk.
She was also a member of Catholic Daughters and Third Order of St. Francis.
The Office of the Dead will be said tonight at 8 in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Indian River Road.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at noon in St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the building fund of the Little Sisters of the 
Poor and Aged: 16 N. Harvey St., Richmond, Va. 23220.
