Alle Riportella - Funeral services for Mr. Riportella, who shot himself Tuesday 
and who died Wednesday, were held at H. D. Oliver’s funeral apartments, 610-12 
East Freemason street, yesterday afternoon at 4 o’clock, with the Rev. Leo J. 
Ryan, of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, officiating. There was an immense 
attendance, including delegations from Loggia Roma Lodge No. 254, Sons of Italy, 
and the Italian Benevolent Society. There was a profusion of floral offerings. The 
casket was covered with clusters of Easter lilies, roses and ferns. Interment was 
in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joseph A. Caprio, Frank Lograsso, 
Nicholas Granata, Moe Levy, Frank Pirrone, Nicholas Ferlazzo, Felix ReDavid, John 
Lofurno and Mike Attese.
