Roach, 42 years old, a well known resident, died Christmas morning at 2 o'clock at the Norfolk Protestant hospital after an illness of several weeks from paralysis. The deceased was the son of the late Richard A. Roach, and was a native of Great Bridge, Norfolk County. He had been living in this city thirty years. The funeral arrangements have been deferred on account of inclement weather. **************************************************************** The funeral of William E. Roach, who died Christmas morning, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence of his mother, Mrs. Margaret Roach, in Maple avenue, by Rev. E.T. Dadmun, pastor of Memorial Church, and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery. The deceased is survived by his mother, sister, Mrs. Annie Hendren and one child.
