Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, November 12, 2002 
NORFOLK - Linford ``Lenny'' Roach of the 7100 block of Sewells Point Road died
Nov. 6, 2002, in his residence.

A native of Norfolk, he had been a freight handler with ILA and a member of
First Baptist Church Lamberts Point.

He is survived by a son, Shao'lin Wallace; mother, Sharon Roach; father, Warner
Walker Jr., three sisters, Larrcuria Roach, Sharron Roach and Ashley Roach;
three brothers, Anthony Sawyer, Warner Roach and Larry Roach, all of Norfolk;
his fiancee, April Askew of Norfolk; a friend, Shannon Wallace of Norfolk; and a
host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at noon Thursday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church,
Campostella Road, by the Rev. Margaret Pittman. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery . The remains will be ready for viewing Wednesday from 3:30 to 8 p.m.
The family will assemble at 1317 W. 26th St., Apt. A, at 11 a.m. for the
procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel,
www.carlosahowardfuneralhome.com, is in charge.
