Allen Roane, 1223 Roscoe street, died Oct. 11. Funeral services were held Oct.
15 at 2 p.m. at Warren’s Funeral chapel with Elder Samuel Wilson officiating.

Survivors are Mrs. Helen Lucas Roane, wife; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Plummer,
and Mrs. Laura Church of Philadelphia; three nieces, Mrs. Dorothy Madrid,
Norfolk; Mrs. Virginia Williams and Mrs. Vernice Plummer; nephews, Lloyd Savage
Plummer, Allen Williams and Berdenine Hill; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Bessie
Brown, Norfolk; one brother-in-law, Ephraim Lucas, Emporia VA, and many other
relatives.

Mr. Roane was a native of Norfolk and a member of the Sons of Norfolk.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Warren mortuary service in charge.
