Norfolk - Mrs. Elizabeth T. Roane, 44, of 2723 Schooley Ave. died Friday in a 
hospital.

A native of Virginia, she was a daughter of Mrs. Bertha F. Thomas and the late 
Alfred Thomas and the wife of Roland Roane Sr.

Surviving, besides her husband and mother, are seven sons, Roland Roane Jr., 
Norman Roane, Maurice Roane, Terry Roane, Anthony Roane and James Roane of 
Norfolk, and Army Spec. 4 John Roane of Ft. Hood TX; a daughter, Miss Gladys 
Roane of New York; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Smith of Philadelphia, Miss Eula 
Thomas of New York, and Mrs. Marie Peace of Northampton County; and a brother, 
Ernest Holbrook of Trenton, NJ.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel. 
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
