Norfolk Virginian-Pilot, page 9, Monday, February 21, 1944
Mrs. Florida Riley Robbins, 79, widow of Everett L. Robbins, died at the 
residence, 38 Port View avenue, yesterday at 1:10 p.m., after a short illness. 
She was born on the Eastern Shore and had resided in Norfolk for 50 years. She 
was the daughter of George T. and Catherine Horner Riley. Surviving are two 
daughters, Mrs. John E. Byrd, of Neosho, Mo., and Mrs. Herbert L. Jones of 
Norfolk; a son, Elwood L. Robbins and a grandson, William A. Browder, both of 
Norfolk; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted in the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel, 1920 
Colley avenue, Tuesday at 3:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
