Virginian Pilot Sunday April 25, 1909

Obie, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Robbins, died at the home of his parents, 
309 West Highland Avenue, yesterday morning of scarlet fever in the fifth year 
of his age.  The funeral will be private this afternoon.  The interment will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery.

ROBBINS - At the residence, No. 309 West Highland Avenue, Saturday, April 24, 
1909. at 4 o'clock a.m., OBIE E. ROBBINS, son of George W. and Daisy E. Robbins, 
in the 5th year of his age.
Funeral and interment private

The funeral of Obie E. Robbins, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Robbins, was held 
at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon.  The service was 
conducted by Rev. Vernon I'Anson, D.D., of Grace Baptist Church.  The floral 
tributes were very handsome.
