Henry C. "Bootsie" Roberson Jr., 70, died at his home Nov. 26, 2002

Mr. Roberson, a native of Norfolk, was the son of the late Henry C. and Ruth E. 
Roberson. He was a graduate of Holy Trinity Catholic High School and attended the 
Norfolk Division of the College of William & Mary. Mr. Roberson served in the 
United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Bell Atlantic 
(Verizon) after 37 years of service. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ida F. "Bootie" Roberson; a daughter, Sharon Roberson 
Boudreau and her husband James; a son, Henry C. Roberson III and his wife Dawn, a 
son, Keith D. Roberson; five grandchildren, Chad Roberson, Allison and Ethan 
Boudreau, and Jordan and Tayler Valladares. He is also survived by a brother, John 
V. Roberson and his wife and a sister, Katherine Kern and her husband.

A Mass of the Recreation will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church. Internment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road, is handling arrangements.
