The Norfolk Virginian Pilot August 9, 1951 
George Milton Roberts, 67, husband of Mrs. Lucy Lowe Roberts and son of the 
late John and Mrs. Mary Wagner Roberts, died Tuesday at 11:55 p.m. at a Norfolk 
hospital.
He was a native of Washington and had been a resident of Norfolk 65 years, 
residing at 420 West Bute Street at the time of his death.
He was a member of Virginia Beach Lodge No. 274, A.F. and A.M.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. M.I. Gibson, of Norfolk.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 
noon by the Rev. L.R. Black, pastor of the Colonial Avenue Methodist Church. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
