Virginian Pilot January 1, 1899

The funeral of Mr. William L. Roberts, whose death was noted in these columns 
yesterday, was held from the family residence, on Maple Avenue, Brambleton Ward, 
at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. 
E.B. McCluer, of Park Avenue Church, and the remains interred in Elmwood Cemetery, 
the following gentlemen acting as pallbearers: W.H. Henley, D.E. Williams, A.J. 
Grant, R.L. Harrell, Geo. T. Warren, L.O. Moore.
