Virginian Pilot January 26, 1901

Earl Roberts, the two months and ten days old son of Mr. H.P. Roberts and the 
late Mrs. Anne Roberts, died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock of pneumonia at the 
home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F.C. Pierce, on Liberty Street.  The 
funeral will be conducted from the residence this morning at 11 o'clock.  Rev. 
M.P. Porter, pastor of Main Street Christian Church, will officiate.  The 
interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of Norman Earle, the infant son of Mr. H.P. Roberts, who died at the 
home of his grandparents Friday, was conducted from the home of Mr. and Mrs. 
F.C. Pierce yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, Rev. M.P. Porter, pastor of Main 
Street Christian Church, officiating.  The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery by 
the side of his mother, who died a short while ago.
