The Virginian Pilot Saturday May 17, 1952
Mrs. Ethel Phelps Roberts, 57, widow of Tilman Roberts, of Berkley, died 
yesterday morning at her residence in Mineral, after a short illness.

A native of Berkley, she moved to Mineral three years ago.  She was a daughter 
of Mrs. Cora Lee Wilson Phelps and the late William S. Phelps.

Besides her mother, surviving are three sisters, Mrs. George I. Dawley, of 
Ocean View; Mrs. Maynard Zimmerman, of Atlanta, Ga.; and Mrs. D. L. Wiltgen of 
Orlando, Fla,; and one brother, Earl Phelps, of Long Beach, Calif.

The body was removed to the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk.
