The Virginian Pilot July 27, 1959
Mrs. Nannie Atwood Powell Roberts of 1708 St. Dennis Ave., daughter of Edward 
VanB. and Jakemine Woodard Atwood, died at a Norfolk hospital Saturday at 
10:50 p.m.
She is survived by a daughter, Miss Ruby Powell of Norfolk, and nieces and 
nephews.
She was a native of Princess Anne County and resided in this area all her 
life.  She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Tuesday 
at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
