The Norfolk Virginian, January 7, 1892

Roberts- On the 3rd day of January, at 5 o’clock p.m., at the residence of her 
parents, No 15 Brewer Street, Mary Ethell, daughter of Charles H. and Mary 
Roberts, aged 3 years and eight months.
A precious one from earth has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled, 
God in his wisdom has received
A bloom of love is given
And though her body mounds in earth, 
Her soul is safe in heaven.
