NORFOLK - Margaret Saunders Roberts, 85, of the Madonna Home, 814 W. 37th St., 
died Monday in a hospital.
She was a native of New Jersey and the widow of Marcellus Roberts. She was a 
member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Larchmont Garden Club, Women’s Club 
of Norfolk, Women’s Democratic Club, Sunshine Club and Senior Citizens of 
Tidewater.
Survivors include two daughters, Marguerite Luecke of Chesapeake and Dorothy 
Fisher of Horseheads, N.Y., two sons, Walter M. Roberts of California and William 
J. Roberts of Norfolk, four grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m. today in Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, with H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, in charge.
The family will be at 140 Dover Circle. Norfolk Memorial donations may be sent to 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or the Madonna Home.
