Oct. 1, 1998, in a Norfolk hospital. She worked for more than 20 years with the American Automobile Association. She was born in Norfolk, the daughter of the late Robert Edward Elliott and Esther Louise Styron Elliott, and was the widow of Marshall E. Robinett. Before returning to Norfolk, she resided for 30 years in Bristol, Tenn. Mrs. Robinett was a member of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder and was the organizer of the ``Royster Rovers.'' She also was a member of the Great Bridge Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Wayside Circle of the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Survivors include two daughters, Marshall R. McCorkle of Norfolk and Elizabeth B. Robinett of Springfield, Va.; a son, Robert ``Randy'' A. Robinett of Brentwood, Tenn.; a brother, George William Elliott of Falls Church, Va.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church by Dr. John R. Monroe. Burial will be private in Elmwood Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritan Fund of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church, 6901 Newport Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23505. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
