Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday November 2, 1950
Joel Thomas Robins, husband of Cora Adelaide Robins, died at the residence, 719 
West 3th Street yesterday at 9:40 p.m.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W.H. Robbins and Miss 
Elizabeth Robbins, both of Norfolk, and Mrs. R.E. Edmonds, of San Antonio, 
Tex.; one sister, Mrs. George Newcomb, of Cradock, and a grandson, Robert E. 
Edmonds, Jr.
Mr. Robins was a native of Gloucester and had been a resident of Norfolk for 50 
years. He was a member of the Park Place Methodist Church, Charity Lodge No. 
10, Knights of Pythias, and was in the grocery business at 906 Moran Avenue.
The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home.
