Virginian Pilot September 3, 1986

Ruth Armistead Robinson, 87, of the 600 block of Shirley Ave. died Sept. 2, 
1986, in her home.
Mrs. Robinson, a Portsmouth native, was a member of First Presbyterian Church of 
Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur D. Robinson; a daughter, Anne A. Robinson; 
and a sister, Rebah W. Armistead, all of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, by the Revs. J. Shepherd Russell Jr. and Stephen P. Eason.  
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the 
church.
