Robinson Instantly Killed While At Work On Pole In Berkley Frank Calder Robinson, Jr., 19 years of age, was electrocuted on a pole at the plant of Baugh & Sons, on the southern branch of the Elizabeth River, yesterday morning at 8:45 o'clock. Young Robinson had gone up the pole bearing electric wires, to make an adjustment to some of the wires, when his screwdriver, which he had in his hip pocket, came in contact with a high voltage wire, killing him instantly. He fell to the ground lifeless. Young Robinson was a son of F.C. and Mrs. Edna Hozier Robinson, 106 D Street, South Norfolk, he having been a native of and lived in this section all his life. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Miss Elizabeth Robinson; two brothers, Carlyle and Charles Robinson and was a grandson of Mrs. S.E. Hozier, of Berkley. He was a well-known young man of this section, where he had many friends who will regret his untimely death. The funeral services will be conducted at the above residence Monday at 2 o'clock and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery. ********************************************************************* The funeral of Frank C. Robinson, Jr., who was accidentally electrocuted Saturday morning, will be conducted at the family residence, 106 D Street, South Norfolk, this afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. O.D. Poythress, pastor of the South Norfolk Christian Church, Rev. J.F. Morgan, pastor of the First Christian Church and Rev. Clyde S. Sawyer, pastor of the South Norfolk Baptist Church. Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery. Robinson, Jr., who was accidentally electrocuted Saturday morning at the plant of Baugh & Sons, where he was employed, was conducted at the family residence, 106 D Street, South Norfolk, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. O.D. Poythress, pastor of the South Norfolk Christian Church, Rev. J.F. Morgan, pastor of the First Christian Church and Rev. C.S. Sawyer, pastor of the South Norfolk Baptist Church. Burial was in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery. The floral tributes were beautiful and there was a large attendance of friends of the deceased. The pallbearers were Graydo Powers, J.B. Wright, Charles Brown, Raymond Henley, John Hollowell, H.A. Bass, Roy Griffin, Lloyd Ashley, Harry Maille and Marshall Harrell.
