Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, January 7, 1998 
Fentress I. ``Fent'' Robinson Jr., 44, a native of Norfolk, died Jan. 1, 1998,
in New York City, where he had lived for the past 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fentress I. Robinson Sr., and his
sister, Anna D. Robinson. Survivors include his loving mother, Sarah R.
Robinson; his sister, Robin A. Robinson; his brother, Dennis J. Robinson; a
daughter, Danita Collins, and three grandchildren; a niece, Shanell A. Robinson;
four nephews, Eric Goodwin, and Dennis, Michael and Stephen Robinson; and a host
of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Hale Funeral
Home by the Rev. Samuel Sykes. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk.
