 Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 6, 1952
Mrs. Edna Earl Robinson, 73, of 1123 Poindexter Street, South Norfolk, died 
yesterday at 9:10 a.m. after an illness of four months.
A native of Norfolk, she had lived in South Norfolk for 49 years.  She was the 
daughter of J.K.P. and Mrs. Sarah Williams Hozier and wife of Frank C. Robinson.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W.A. Chapman, of Oak 
Grove, Norfolk County; two sons, Carlyle B. Robinson, of Norfolk, and Charlie 
M. Robinson, of South Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Archer, of South Norfolk; 
one brother, S.D. Hozier, of Norfolk, two grandchildren and one great 
grandchild.
She was a member of the South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church and of 
the Friendship Chapter 57, Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Graham Funeral 
Home, South Norfolk.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs. Edna Earle Robinson -- Funeral services for Mrs. Robinson, of South 
Norfolk, who died Sunday, were conducted yesterday at 2 p.m. at the Graham 
Funeral Home, South Norfolk, by the Rev. O.D. Poythress, pastor of the South 
Norfolk Congregational Christian Church, assisted by the Rev. Douglass Newman, 
pastor of the Oak Grove Methodist Church. Pallbearers were Dr. W.D. Preston, 
Dr. G.W. Simpson, Leo Newberry, Webb M. Townsend, Sr., Norman Etheridge, Clyde 
Rodgers, Zenas Roberts and Lennon H Newberry.  Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery, 
Norfolk.
