Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday October 17, 1942
C. Hamilton Rockefeller, of Richmond and formerly of Norfolk, died suddenly of a 
heart attack at Rocksboro, N.C. Thursday morning.  He spent most of his life in 
Norfolk prior to becoming associated with the Phillips Lumber Company, of 
Richmond, some 15 years ago.  He was the son of the late Charles W and Frances 
E. Rockefeller and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. W.E. Gibson, of Richmond and 
Mrs. John M. Gibbs, of Washington.  

ROCKEFELLER, C. HAMLTON --Of Richmond, and formerly of Norfolk, suddenly at 
Roxsboro, N.C., of a heart attack Thursday morning, October 15, 1942, at 4 
o'clock, C. HAMILTON ROCKEFELLER, son of the late Charles W. and Frances E. 
Rockefeller.  Remains will be taken from the Cox Funeral Home, 631 Westover 
avenue, corner Manteo street, to Magnolia Cemetery, for services at the grave in 
the family plot THIS (Saturday) AFTERNOON at 1 o'clock.  Friends of the family 
are invited to attend.

C. Hamilton Rockefellow --Funeral services for Mr. Rockefellow, of Richmond, 
formerly of Norfolk, who died suddenly at Rocksboro, N.C., Thursday morning, 
were conducted at the grave in Magnolia Cemetery yesterday afternoon at 1 
o'clock.  The Rev. Beecher L. Rhodes, D.D., pastor of Berkley Avenue Baptist 
Church, officiated.  The pallbearers were Dr. B. J. Thompson, Wallace Gibbs, 
Russell A. McCoy, B. B. Bott, W.G. Brinkley, George Youre and W. S. Anderson.
