Alexander Rodgers died June 3 at his residence, 2522 Courtney Avenue and his 
funeral was held June 5 from St. Mark’s Community Church with the Rev. A. L. 
Scruggs officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. B. F. King had charge of the 
body.
