Virginian Pilot October 22, 1962

Mrs. Mildred Pitts Rodgers, 77, wife of R. Floyd Rodgers and daughter of Edward 
Parker and Mrs. Emory West Pitts, died in Wildwood, Ga. Friday at 5 p.m.
A native of Norfolk, she lived in Chattanooga, Tenn. 33 years. 
Besides her husband, she is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Tuesday at 2 
p.m. by the Rev. Reginald C. Groff of the Episcopal Church of the Advent. Burial 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
