He was a barber for 45 years and retired. He was a World War I veteran and a Baptist. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Corine Futrell and Mrs. Joyce Smith and two sons, Wilbur White and William J. Rogers, all of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The body was taken to Twilight Funeral Home. Additional Comments: NORFOLK - A funeral for William Rogers of 112 W. 28th St. will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church, Berkley section, by Dr. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at Twilight Funeral Home will be today from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. The funeral party will assemble at his home at noon Saturday for the processional to church.
