Mr. Rogers was born in Princess Anne County and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Norfolk. He had retired from Contractor Paving Co. Survivors include his wife, Emma J. Rogers; three daughters, Maxine Graves, Dorothy Rogers-Backus and Darlene Gilliam; four sons, Ralph Johnson, Benjamin Rogers, Stanley Rogers and Angelo Rogers; and a brother, Edward Rogers, all of Norfolk; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Ingleside Road, Norfolk, by Brother A. Simmons. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Community Funeral Home, Norfolk, is in charge of arrangements.
