Sandra L. Roginski, 60, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 16, 2000, after a 
long and courageous fight with cancer.

Mrs. Roginski was born April 23, 1940, in Norfolk. She was the daughter of the 
late James A. and Catherine E. Harrell. She will be sadly missed by her husband, 
Henry Roginski; daughter, Debra L. Tyson and her husband, Glynn; brother, Robert 
B. Harris; three sisters, Pamela D. Commander, Cathy S. Johnson and Donna R. 
Callahan; three grandchildren, James Henry Wrona, Christopher Glenn Tyson and 
Nicole Laura Tyson; and three very dear friends, Charline Jones, Marion Marrion 
and Bonita Smith.

Mrs. Roginski brought happiness and joy to all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia 
Beach Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the 
residence, 2412 Casey Ct., Virginia Beach. The family requests, in lieu of 
flowers, that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
