Romm died at his home, 408 East Brambleton Avenue, at 2:30 o'clock Sunday morning after a lingering illness in the 61st year of his age. The deceased was a native of Germany but had been a resident of Norfolk for ten years, where he was well known and highly esteemed. His vocation was that of a ship carpenter. He is survived by a widow and one son, J.E. Romm. The funeral will be held from the First Church of Christ (Disciples) at 11 o'clock this morning, of which the deceased was a member, and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.T T. Hundley.
