Cook Dies Aboard Ship; Funeral Conducted Here
Dhonie Rosario, 55, second cook aboard the SS City of London, died of a heart 
attack Friday at 2:45 p.m. while the ship was enroute to Baltimore. He was a 
native and resident of Calcutta, India.
The ship put in at Pier N, Lamberts Point, yesterday at 1 a.m. and Rosario’s body 
was removed to Twiford Funeral Home, 34th and Granby streets.
Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 p.m. at the grave in St. Mary’s Cemetery 
by the Rev. E. W. Johnston, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers 
were Rosario’s shipmates, The City of London continued on to Baltimore at 6 p.m.
