Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, March 21, 1998 
Willie G. Roscoe, 76, known as ``Roscoe,'' of the 6200 block of Westchester
Park, died March 17, 1998, in Cheverly, Md.

A native of Norfolk, he was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. Mr. Roscoe
retired five years ago as an analyst for the District of Columbia public school
system with 36 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy H. Roscoe; five daughters, Yvonne R. Jones,
Jackie Picott and Hortense, Theresa and Cynthia Roscoe; four sons, Arnold,
Eugene, Michael and Mark Roscoe; 11 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter;
nephews, James A. Roscoe Jr., Bernard Roscoe and Michael Bell; and a niece,
Vernice Smith. He was predeceased by his daughter, Wilhelmina Rosco Satterfield;
his parents, Maria H. and Benjamin H. Roscoe; and his brother, James A. Roscoe.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Grace Episcopal Church, 1400 E.
Brambleton Ave., Norfolk, by Fr. Harold J. Cobb. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery . The remains will lie in repose at Grace Episcopal Church at 10 a.m.
until the hour of service. The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 5:30
p.m. at Hale Funeral Home.
